Shamshera, a Yash Raj Films action thriller starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Vaani Kapoor, will be released in IMAX on July 22. The eagerly awaited movie is said to be a never-before-seen visual spectacular that will be shown to a large audience. Dhoom 3, Bahubali 2, and Padmaavat, to mention a few more Hindi movies that have previously been released in IMAX, are all on-screen extravaganza.
“Shamshera is a cinematic experience which has been created to provide viewers with a never-before-seen sight. We’re ecstatic to be releasing the picture in IMAX, which will allow viewers all around the world to experience the film’s visual spectacle in the most engaging way possible. Shamshera is a completely new notion for today’s audience, and we think it’s a visual treat considering the subject’s rarity. When we first started working on Shamshera, we knew it would be best seen on the large screen and in IMAX. “It’s incredibly exciting to share this news with moviegoers all over the globe,” filmmaker Karan Malhotra said.
For the very first time in his career, Ranbir Kapoor plays a larger-than-lifeAdarsh archetypal Hindi cinema hero in Shamshera. Four years after delivering the hit Sanju, Ranbir is returning to the big screen, and his comeback is one of the most highly awaited moments among fans and moviegoers.
Shamshera is set in the fictional town of Kaza, where a warrior clan is captured, tortured, and tormented by Shudh Singh, a vicious authoritarian commander. This is the story of a man who became a slave, a slave who ascended through the ranks to become a tribal leader, and eventually a tribe hero. He works relentlessly to ensure his tribe’s freedom and rights. His name is Shamshera.
The high-octane, adventurous action film takes place in India’s heartland in the 1800s. It has the promise of a never-before-seen Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Shamshera! In this enormous casting coup, Sanjay Dutt portrays Ranbir’s arch-enemy, and his confrontation with Ranbir will be something to watch out for, as they will viciously go for one another with no compassion.
