Ajay Devgn is all set for the arrival of his helmed movie, Runway 34 on April 29, which corresponds with the Eid celebration. The edge of the seat show highlights him close to Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh and Boman Irani. In a selective collaboration preceding the film’s delivery, Devgn got serious about his impending activities, including some which are yet to be declared.
Maidaan, the entertainer believes, is one of the best films he has done in his distinguished 30-year profession, and he is looking forward to seeing it launch. Ajay revealed that he is working on a VFX-heavy project, but he has yet to decide whether or not it would be his next feature film. When asked about his thoughts on the magnum work, he was evasive. I’m working on 2 or 3 ventures at the same time, so I’m not certain. He smiles and says, It’s too quick to say anything.
Devgn has also been developing a followup to his 2012 parody Son of Sardaar. We are developing a tale for the followup, Let’s see what emerges, he says.
Ajay had stated his plans to create a series based on unsung heroes from Indian history back in 2020. We are working on 2 to 3 endeavours, so I really don’t know which one to finalise, he said when questioned about it. We’ll make a conclusion after a bit more work. I can’t stay quiet to get started on the next venture, an unsung warrior movie.
Ajay seems to have been in discussions for a superhero movie with YRF. There has been considerable speculation in the industry that the same has been put on hold. However, insiders stated earlier this year that the project is still in the works and that the actor will portray a super villain in it. We’re still working on the YRF picture, Devgn admits, keeping it short. We’ll let you know as soon as we can. While the actor did not provide any information on the filming timeline, our sources claim that the Shiv Rawail directed film will begin shooting this year provided all goes according to plan.
