Akshay Kumar is leading the Bollywood industry, and he’s doing it in style! The actor, who is presently dazzling audiences with his new film Bachchhan Paandey, has added yet another film to his resume. According to the latest rumours, Bollywood makers have chosen yet another true storey about a real-life hero. According to online rumours, Akshay Kumar has been cast as Jaswant Singh Gill, the former chief mining engineer.
Jaswant Singh Gill was the man who saved 65 miners in the Raniganj coal mining tragedy in 1989. Capsule Gill is the working title for the JS Gill biography.
According to the reports, Akshay will take over as head mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill’s successor. The movie will be produced by Vashu Bhagnani of Pooja Entertainment and Ajay Kapoor of Kyta Productions, and it will be directed by Rustom filmmaker Tinu Suresh Desai. According to reports, JS Gill’s biopic Capsule Fill would begin filming in Amritsar in the third quarter of 2022, or after June.
In 1989, JS Gill, a real-life hero, rescued 65 miners who were stuck in a flooded mine. He claimed to have bored a borehole and entered the mine on his own. JS Gill refused to leave the mine until they were all saved. President Ramaswamy Venkataraman gave JS Gill the Sarvottam Jeevan Raksha Padak in 1991 for his bravery.
Returning to the movie, there has been no formal confirmation, and we will have to wait for the filmmakers to make an official statement.
When it comes to Akshay Kumar’s work schedule, he already has a diverse list of projects lined up. Akki doesn’t have three or four films on his plate; he has roughly eight. The entertainer will next be seen in Prithviraj, in which he will star alongside Manushi Chillar, the 2017 Miss World champion. Mission Cinderella, Raksha Bandhan, Ram Setu, and Oh My God 2 are among Akshay Kumar’s next films, while in 2023, he will star alongside Tiger Shroff in Selfiee, the Soorarai Pottru remake, Gorkha, and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
