The announcement that Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo would be released in Hindi grabbed social media by storm a few days ago. The makers planned to release Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo in Hindi dubbed in order to capitalise on the success of Pushpa. However, because of an increase in Covid-19 instances, the launch has been cancelled. In addition, the producers of Shehzada (a Hindi remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo) requested not to deliver the dubbed version on big screens.
The Hindi version of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo will hit theatres on January 26th, as the sources previously reported. Paresh Rawal, who will be one of the lead roles in the upcoming movie Shehzada, expressed his disappointment with the film’s launch, claiming that it could harm the theatrical performance of the forthcoming movie Shehzada.
The makers of the film have now confirmed that the Hindi version of Ala Vakunthapurramuloo would not be released. “Due to the current Covid-19 situation, the Hindi version of the film has been cancelled,” a source stated. Also, with ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ still running strong in theatres across the country, launching another superstar Allu Arjun movie at the same time would be a bad idea. People are still rushing to the theatres to witness the enchantment of their favourite superstar on the big screen, despite ‘Pushpa’ being distributed on OTT.”
Kartik Aryan, Manisha Koirala, and Paresh Rawal star as the key roles of Shehzada. Shehzada is the Hindi version of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, and it will be released in theatres on November 4, 2022.
Shehzada’s whole team thanked the producer Manish Shah when the creators chose to cancel the release. Manish Shah, promoter of Goldmines, and the makers of Shehzada have unanimously agreed to pull the theatrical launch of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Hindi version, the statement stated. The makers of Shehzada are very much grateful to Manish Shah for agreeing to it.
The movie is directed by Rohit Dhawan. The movie also features Ronit Roy, Ali Asgar, among others. The movie is produced by Allu Aravind (Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’s producer).
