Mumbai has once again proudly become part of the global festival “Global Citizen”. The first time when Mumbai became a part of this well-known festival was in the year 2016.
Mumbai will be one of the host cities and will be representing India worldwide. The event will take place on 25th September and the honour of hosting the event is given to none other than the Nayak of Bollywood Anil Kapoor.
There will be several renowned guests making their appearance in the show including; Sadhguru, Amitabh Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Arjun Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Bhumi Pednekar, Dia Mirza, Farhan Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan, Janhvi Kapoor, Kiara Advani, Riteish Deshmukh, Sara Ali Khan and Sonakshi Sinha.
Global Citizen Live aims to create awareness about Global Warming and to prevent Global Warming. The developed nations become a part of this incredible initiative and donate 100 billion yearly in concern of the climate needs of those countries who are still developing.
Aaditya Thackeray, Minister of Tourism and Environment, Maharashtra made a statement saying that it’s high time we should be concerned about climate change and the damages it is causing. He also added further that he has full faith in the Global Citizen Festival and the initiative they are carrying forward.
