On Monday, actor Ayushmann Khurrana shared a happy photo from the post-shoot pack-up of his forthcoming film Dream Girl 2.
The “An Action Hero” star shared a peek at post-pack sequences on Instagram stories.
Ayushmann was pictured taking a nap in a car on the way home from his night duty.
He wrote, “Sharing the photo, “I’ve just packed. Right-on Night Shift #Dreamgirl2.”
Ayushmann recently published a movie trailer.
The video portrays Ayushmann as a male with the ability to mimic a woman’s voice. Ayushmann may be heard conversing on the phone with SRK’s Pathaan character in the video.
“Pooja bol rahi hu, hello. Are you?” Ashmann enquired.
He was addressed by someone at the other end of the line as “Pathaan,” a reference to Shah Rukh Khan’s protagonist in the hit movie “Pathaan,” who answered the call.
“Pooja…main Pathaan,” the caller stated.
Uff…kaise ho mere Pathaan?” continued Ayushmann.
The caller said, “Richer than ever…Happy Valentine’s Day Pooja” in response to him.
The humorous promo has netizens giddy with anticipation.
In the video, Ayushmann can be seen decked out as a woman. But, only a portion of his face is seen as Pooja.
Ayushmann also disclosed via promotion that the movie is scheduled to open in cinemas on July 7.
The sequel to the hugely popular movie Dream Girl, which was launched in 2019, is Balaji Telefilms Dream Girl 2. At the box office, the first installment was a huge success.
The movie also features Annu Kapoor, Manjot Singh, Paresh Rawal, Ananya Panday, Asrani, and Vijay Raaz, in addition to Ayushmann.
Ayushmann Khurrana.
Khurrana portrayed a bodybuilder in Abhishek Kapoor’s romance comedy Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui in 2021 who falls into a relationship with a trans lady. He then joined Sinha for the Anek film, which is centred in Northeast India (2022). Next, Khurrana participated in Aanand L. Rai’s An Action Hero, which was directed by Anirudh Iyer, and Rakul Preet Singh, as well as Shefali Shah’s roles in Anubhuti Kashyap’s hospital drama Doctor G (2022). None of these movies did well at the box office, despite receiving favourable reviews.
