Recently, Bollywood Actress Kangana Ranaut pleaded to the Maharashtra Government to open the theatres and keep the film industry alive ahead of the release of her movie Thalaivii. Hence, people started speculating that the theatres might open in October.
But, unfortunately, the movie enthusiast in Maharashtra will have to wait a little longer, as recently the news of the Maha Government still waiting on deciding whether or not to open the theatres made rounds.
According to the reports, the Guardian Minister of Mumbai, Aslam Shaikh, earlier revealed that there is no truth to the rumours of the cinemas of Mumbai reopening in the month of October.
He also said further that; “Moreover, the Covid Cases in the state are rising again which is a concern for us, hence, we can’t even think of opening the theatres at the moment.
