Vicky Kaushal, a Bollywood actor, married Katrina Kaif in December of last year. Following their wedding, there were various reports that the two were being featured in movies together. However, prior to getting married, the sources announced in November that Vicky and Tripti had been cast in a rom-com helmed by Anand Tiwari, the director of Bandish Bandits. Ammy Virk will also be accompanying them, according to reports.
According to sources, the romantic comedy, in which Vicky dons a fresh look as a lover boy, began filming earlier yesterday in Mumbai. While there are little specifics about the film, it is apparent that Tripti will star alongside Kaushal in it. Ammy’s role, on the other hand, is yet unknown. In terms of release, the unnamed film is expected to hit theatres next year, according to its creators.
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal is preparing to star in three projects next year. Next up for the actor is a yet-to-be-titled family drama with Manushi Chillar from Yash Raj Films, followed by Shashank Khaitan’s Govinda Naam Mera and Dinesh Vijan’s rom-com with Sara Ali Khan from Dinesh Vijan. Tripti Dimri, on the other hand, has Netflix’s Qala starring Babil I. Khan and Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor on her schedule. She also has another Dharma Productions project in the works, directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, in which she will star alongside Ishaan Khatter.
About Vicky Kaushal’s career, Kaushal worked with Anurag Kashyap in the 2012 crime drama Gangs of Wasseypur and afterwards appeared in two of Kashyap’s films. His first main role came in the 2015 drama Masaan, and he rose to prominence in 2018 thanks to supporting appearances in Raazi and Sanju, two of the year’s highest-grossing Hindi films. The actor got the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance.
