Ghanshyam Nayak who was popular for his portrayal of Nattu Kaka in the show Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah breathed his last on 3rd October, Sunday. Ghanshyam Ji was reportedly battling cancer.
The seasoned actor passed away on Sunday, aged 77. Ghanshyam Ji was battling cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy. He was apparently diagnosed with cancer in April this year, a few months back his condition failed to improve and he was hospitalized.
The entire cast and crew of Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah are shattered by disbelief.
Apart from his role in Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah, Ghanshyam Nayak was a famous Gujarati actor as well and has worked in over 100 Gujarati and Hindi movies.
