The trailer for Tiger Shroff’s next action movie Heropanti 2 was revealed just now. The movie also stars Tara Sutaria and Nawazuddin Siddiqui and is a followup to Tiger’s breakthrough movie Heropanti. The trailer featured the trademark gravity-defying action that has been Tiger’s trademark. While the majority of fans praised it, some thought it was a little excessive.
The trailer begins with an overview of the movie’s adversary, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Laila, a cyber crime genius. In terms of structure, a scene in which the psychotic Laila injures a man with a pen and then smiles maniacally would recall most of Heath Ledger’s Joker. It remains to be seen whether the performance merits such a comparison. Only Babloo Ranawat, played by Tiger Shroff, can stop Laila.
We next see Tiger defying most physics laws as he leaps on top of automobiles, performs a dozen stunts at once, and even ‘flies’ with a supercar’s bumper. Following that, the movie’s female lead, Inaaya (Tara Sutaria), is presented with some song, dance, and drama. The action then picks up as Babloo and Laila battle it out. Tiger is depicted fighting Shaolin monks with Hero’s trademark flute music playing in the background in the trailer’s final seconds, which is a nod to Tiger’s father Jackie Shroff’s debut Hero.
According to the official summary of the movie, “Inaaya is a self-made rich person, and Babloo is a computer genius. The two fall in deep love, but are forced to split ways due to unanticipated situations. As the world wants Babloo action, drama, and edge-of-your-seat thrills ensue when they are rejoined.”
The movie Heropanti 2, helmed by Ahmed Khan, will be released in theatres on April 29. Not only was Tiger’s debut in the first part of the movie, but it also launched Kriti Sanon to the B-town.
