Hrithik Roshan has wrapped filming on the Hindi adaptation of Vikram Vedha, which was a blockbuster hit in 2017, and he has shared his thoughts on the experience on social media. Vedha, played by Hrithik Roshan, has wrapped the film, and the entertainer has become upset while saying his goodbyes to the crew. Roshan wrote a lengthy Instagram post about the ‘frightful and lovely’ events he had while filming the movie.
Hrithik posted two images of himself with the cast, co-star Saif Ali Khan, and filmmakers Gayatri and Pushkar in his post. In another photo, the Krrish actress poses with the filmmakers and a clapboard that reads, ‘Vedha wrap.’ “Beginning the adventure of Vikram Vedha came with its own variety of environmental hurdles, with the outbreak and unpredictability… yet looking back, it all added to our preparation and execution,” Hrithik said.
The actor went on to say, “This trip has been as terrifying and exhilarating for me as a jump. For me, using Vedha as a tool for letting go, connecting with what is, and finding delight in being less than, in being wrong, has been a wonderfully new experience. It’s been a process of rewiring, remoulding, and trust. Time and my viewers will tell whether or not my intuitions were correct.”
Roshan went on to say “Irrespective of successes or failures, I am eternally grateful to Gayatri and Pushkar for their clarity and ambition. The enthusiasm with which they approached the tale, as well as the twinkle in their eyes each day we were on location, served as a silent motivator for me to give it my all as Vedha.” Hrithik alias Vedha came to a conclusion by expressing, “My mind is overwhelmed with all the pleasant memories, challenging times, action, thrill, and hard work we all put into Vikram Vedha as we called it a wrap on set. In my thoughts today, I’m doing a little excited-nervous dance. We’re getting closer to the release date. Enough said. We’ll see you at the movies.”
For the uninitiated, the Hindi version of Vikram Vedha is centered on Vikram aur Betaal’s folklore. R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi appeared in the original Tamil movie. While Hrithik has taken on the role of Vijay, Saif will take on the role of Madhavan. On September 30, 2022, the Hindi edition of Vikram Vedha will be released in theatres.
