Recently, a rumour did round that Kareena Kapoor has hiked her price to play the role of Sita in the movie that is going to be made on the popular mythological drama Ramayan.
The actress was heavily trolled for this as well. But, now after a few days, Kareena Kapoor has finally spoken up about the ongoing situation and had also made a bold statement about the same.
Kareena has clarified why she did this in the first place. About increasing her fee to play the role of Sita to a news portal, the actress said that she knows what she wants and she is not afraid to put that forward. She said further about men and women not getting equal pay a few years back but now the generation has changed, people have evolved, their mindset has matured and the women are brave enough to be outspoken about this matter. Equality should prevail everywhere, women should be respected in every way, she said further.
Meanwhile, if we talk about Kareena’s upcoming projects she has “Laal Singh Chaddha” opposite Aamir Khan in the line. Bebo will also be a part of Karan Johar’s multi starrer “Takht”.
