The directors of Ayushmann Khurrana’s film ‘Dream Girl’ are working on a follow up. They’ve opted to keep the actor as the leading character, but they’re still looking for a female lead.
Sara Ali Khan is the leading recommendation for Raaj Shaandilyaa’s directorial project, according to a source in a news portal, out of all the names that are circulating for the part. Sara fits the description wonderfully, according to the source, because the producers are seeking for a feisty young girl.
Despite the fact that they have contacted her for the project, they are still in negotiations, and the young diva has yet to say yes. The venture is set to start production later this year. If Sara joins the project, it will be her first time working with Ayushmann. There have been rumours of them working together on a venture previously. However, because of pandemic-related delays, things did not appear to have materialised.
Ayushmann will next appear in Junglee Pictures’ ‘Doctor G,’ alongside Shefali Shah and Rakul Preet Singh. Sara Ali Khan, on the other hand, has Laxman Utekar’s unnamed follow-up with Vicky Kaushal and Vikrant Massey’s ‘Gaslight.’
About Sara Ali Khan, she made her acting debut in Abhishek Kapoor’s romantic drama Kedarnath, in which she portrayed a Hindu girl who deeply falls in love with a Muslim porter portrayed by Sushant Singh Rajput. Sara and Ranveer Singh co-starred in Rohit Shetty’s action flick Simmba, which was partially based on the Telugu classic Temper (2015). Khan appeared as a young woman with a tragic past alongside Kartik Aaryan in Imtiaz Ali’s love story Love Aaj Kal (2020), a spiritual sequel to Ali’s 2009 film of the same name. Khan starred alongside Dhanush and Akshay Kumar in director Aanand L. Rai’s thriller Atrangi Re, which released on Disney+ Hotstar in 2021 after repeated delays owing to the pandemic’s statewide lockdown.
