Since the day Filmmaker Rohit Shetty announced his new movie Sooryavanshi and the cast for the film, Bollywood enthusiasts have been eying on the release of the movie. But, the release got delayed owing to the pandemic and lockdown.
Sooryavavanshi stars two megastars of Bollywood Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead, this would be their first project together after their last release Tees Maar Khan. Fans have been eagerly waiting to see this superstar Jodi together on the big screen again.
While all the movies are having a digital release, Rohit Shetty was firm to give Sooryavanshi a theatrical release. And now, that the Maharashtra government has decided to reopen the theatres from 22nd October, Rohit went on Instagram to share his excitement and also revealed that Sooryavanshi will be releasing in theatres this Diwali.
Sooryavanshi which is a cop drama was originally slated to release on 24th March 2020. The movie also stars Ajay Devgan, Ranveer Singh, Gulshan Grover, Nikitin Dheer and Jacky Shroff in significant roles.
