Salman Khan has often proven himself that he is an excellent performer, particularly when the script is promising. Fans saw him do just that in the 2015 movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan, when he gave one of his greatest performances. Director Kabir Khan opened up about the next movie and how his career took off after working with Salman as the actor prepares for the sequel to the film.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan was released in theatres in 2015 and was a huge hit with audiences due to its stunning storyline and writing. The story focused around a young guy named Pawan who crossed the India-Pakistan border to return a small lost girl to her family. Kabir Khan directed the film, which also starred actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a key part.
During a recent interview with the sources, the filmmaker Kabir Khan discussed the planned sequel to Bajrangi Bhaijaan and how it was announced on Salman Khan’s birthday. “Salman does not adhere to the official announcement (protocols).” He speaks from the heart,” he explained.
Kabir Khan also discussed the film’s title, claiming that it was created by Salman Khan himself. Salman refers to it as “Pawan Putra Bhaijaan”. It is undoubtedly being written; he stated that he is looking forward to it. He hasn’t read the script, but he is sure Vijendra sir will write something spectacular (like he always does). He is never excited about the prospect of [making] a sequel. Only because (the original) was successful will he ever make a sequel to his film. If any great idea comes to his mind he will definitely go for it.
“We had a great association,” Kabir Khan stated of how Bajrangi Bhaijaan altered his life for the better. His career and status in the industry would not be what they are today if it weren’t for that relationship with Salman. However, it all comes down to the script. We’ll see how things take shape.”
