The B-town 90s diva Karisma Kapoor will star in “Brown,” a movie directed by Abhinay Deo, best known for “Delhi Belly.” Brown, bankrolled by Zee Studios, is based on Abheek Barua’s novel “City of Death.”
The creators haven’t said whether the venture will be a feature movie or a web show. “Brown,” a neo-noir criminal tale set in Kolkata’s vibrant city, also features Surya Sharma.
Kapoor, who plays a detective in the film, expressed excitement at the prospect of portraying a “fiercely strong personality in an exciting plot.”
Brown is the type of narrative that is both intriguing and hard for any actor, which is exactly what drew me to audition for the part. I can’t wait to commence filming, In a statement, the entertainer remarked.
According to Deo, the endeavour is a first-of-its-kind character study. He added, ‘Brown’ is a very well-crafted novel that allows me to go deeper into human psychology and connections.
