The trailer for this year’s highly anticipated film KGF 2 was released yesterday and it has already raised the bar for its April 14 launch. Superstar Yash returns as Rocky, while Sanjay Dutt plays Adheera, Rocky’s antagonist, in the sequel. Raveena Tandon will portray Ramika Sen, a formidable prominent politician in the film.
Yash and Sanjay Dutt reinterpret war and bloodshed in this action-packed, gripping trailer. It’s jam-packed with heavy action and combat sequences, and bullets fly faster than the blink of an eye. Raveena Tandon makes a strong impression in the trailer, despite her brief appearance. The trailer is chock-full of memorable sequences and dialogue, particularly when Yash’s Rocky declares that he ‘likes violence.’
Meanwhile, Ram Charan of RRR introduced the Telugu version of the trailer, while Shivaraj Kumar of Kannada delivered the Kannada version. Suriya will also unveil the Tamil trailer.
KGF: Chapter 1 was a huge success when it was published in 2018. Rocky, played by Yash, is a man who is adamant about keeping a promise he made to his dying mother: he will not die destitute.
The trailer depicts Yash’s Rocky as a prominent entrepreneur in the gold mining industry who becomes embroiled in a feud with Raveena Tandon’s role as politician. As Rocky’s adversary Adheera, Sanjay Dutt appears in the city.
The tale of blood cannot be started again in ink, but only in blood, says the background voice over. Fans have been reposting a remark said by Yash since the film was released: “I don’t like violence. I try to stay away from it. Violence, on the other hand, is a fan of mine, I’m not able to avoid it.”
Yash previously remarked in an interview that with KGF 2, people’s expectations of him may achieve greater levels, thus he wants to make movies that attract people of different ages. It’s not about the language or the market anymore; it’s about the number of individuals we serve. I want to share stories that people of all ages may enjoy.
In Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi, KGF 2 will be launched. Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar from Excel Entertainment and AA Films present the movie, which is bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films.
