Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh are actively promoting their forthcoming semi thriller Runway 34, which is why we previously connected with them to talk about it. Of course, the talk rarely stays focused on the current film and inadvertently drifts to other topics. As is customary, the sources asked entertainers about their next ventures during our private interview, with Ajay Devgn’s long-awaited Maidaan being one of them. I believe it will happen in the next 3-4 months (the release). On Maidaan’s planned official launch, the celebrity remarked, “A lot of post (post-production) is going on, as soon as the post is finished movie is complete…the moment post-production is over, it’ll come.”
In the same interview, the celebrity was asked if Bollywood is really concerned about South films, also known as pan-India films, or if it’s merely a notion fueled by social media talk, adding, “The same thing was claimed about Hollywood a long time ago, but nothing occurred.” As a result, these issues will constantly be discussed, but Bollywood will undoubtedly continue to thrive. More significantly, we must stop viewing our films as films from distinct regions, such as the North or the South, and instead view them as films from India.”
In terms of the film itself, ever since the Runway 34 trailer was unveiled at the renowned PVR Infinity Mall in Andheri West, Mumbai, in the presence of the show’s creator and main character, Ajay Devgn, as well as the remaining portion of his crew, Rakul Preet Singh, Angira Dhar, and Aakanksha Singh, as well as a large media contingent, the story line has been generating a lot of buzz in both the trade and the viewers.
The Runway 34 trailer exceeded expectations, with a wonderful blend of commercialism and content, as well as pulling you in with the correct buildup, mystery, thrill, tension, and intrigue by not offering up too much, something most trailers these days fail to reach. The film, which also features Amitabh Bachchan and Boman Irani and is directed and produced by Devgn, will be released during Eid weekend on April 29th.
