Many movie makers have approached Neena Gupta about making a movie based on her autobiography, ‘Sach Kahu Toh,’ which was a great hit the year before.
In an interview with a news source, Neena revealed that she had just had her first forum to decide the movie project and that she had yet to make a decision. The actress also claimed that she has yet to choose an actor to play her in the film. According to her, the producer will choose the entertainer, and she would have no say in the matter.
In her book, Neena wrote about the struggles of parenting her child Masaba Gupta on its own as a single mum to her first marriage, which endured for a year and drew a lot of attention when it was launched.
In the meantime, Neena will next appear in Vikas Bahl’s ‘Goodbye,’ in which she will be featured alongside none other than Amitabh Bachchan. Pavail Gulati and Rashmika Mandanna play important parts in the film.
She also has a role in ‘Panchayat 2’ with Jitendra Kumar and Raghubir Yadav. Deepak Kumar Mishra helmed the film, which will be launched on a digital platform on May 20.
Neena Gupta is a B-town and television actress. She earned the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as a young widow in Woh Chokri, where she appeared in both art-house and commercial films (1994). She resurrected her career in 2018 after appearing in the comedy-drama Badhaai Ho, for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress (Critics) and was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress.
