Jaideep Ahlawat aka Hathiram Chaudhary posted the latest update on Paatal Lok 2
Paatal Lok, starring Jaideep Ahlawat as Hathiram Chaudhary and launched during Amazon Prime‘s first lockdown, was a big, sleeper hit that also kicked off the OTT fever that exploded once everyone was forced to remain behind closed doors. However, it has been almost two years since Paatal Lok season 2 was announced, which is remarkable given how fantastic season 1 was and the fact that the creators had already made their intentions clear about releasing a second season. When will Paatal Lok 2 be released?
“I’ll be extremely glad to rejoin to Pataal Lok,” Jaideep Ahlawat, who portrays Hathiram Chaudhary in Pataal Lok, revealed in an exclusive interview with the sources. It was one of the first shows to air during the first shutdown, and it was a huge hit, setting the bar for the OTT content mania that has followed since. However, I’m not familiar with Paatal Lok 2’s predicament; you’ll have to ask the filmmakers about it. It will, hopefully, happen shortly.”
Jaideep Ahlawat will next be featured in the ZEE5 mini-series Bloody Brothers, which is an official version of the British TV programme Guilt and stars Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub as one of the main characters. It’s the third time ZEE5 and Applause Entertainment have collaborated. The 6-part online series is helmed by Shaad Ali of Saathiya and Bunty Aur Babli acclaim and produced by Applause Entertainment in collaboration with BBC Studios India. Bloody Brothers also features Tina Desai, Shruti Seth, Maya Alagh, Mugdha Godse, Satish Kaushik, and Jitnedra Joshi, in addition to Jaideep and Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub.
Jaggi and Daljeet are two brothers whose lives are intertwined in the film Bloody Brothers. While the elder brother, Jaggi, enjoys the ease of an affluent and apparently ideal existence, the younger one, Daljeet, fights to live, owning a vintage book shop cum café. When a horrific incident happens, their lives spiral out of control, and distrust begins to surround them, causing a wedge between them and everyone else. The show promises plot unexpected turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
