Kumar Mangat Pathak the producer of an Indian cinema on Tuesday made an announcement about the continuation of his 2018 film Raid which will be based on the real story of numerous raids in Kanpur and Kannauj, at the factory and houses of perfume trader Piyush Jain. The movie maker was speaking at a board discussion of the first edition of the Film Festival Kashi in Varanasi. Producer Kumar Mangat Pathak, is known for his blockbuster films like Khuda Haafiz, Drishyam and Raid. Now he had built up his mind to make ‘Raid 2’. The film’s going to show the same view of the money emerging out of the walls at Piyush Jain’s house. After the raid at his factory in Kannauj and residence in Kanpur by the Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI), Jain was arrested on Sunday. The raid led to the recovery of about Rs.257 crore in cash, 250 kg of silver and 25kg of gold. On Monday the Finance Ministry said that it was the ”largest ever captured cash” by an enforcement agency. Later, the court produced Jain in metropolitan court number 10 for 14 days of Judicial custody with a tight security.
