Prathyusha Garimella, a Telugu film industry fashion designer, was discovered dead in her washroom in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, on Saturday. Police discovered a vial of carbon monoxide in her bedroom, which they believe she ingested.
A complaint of suspicious death has been filed by the police. Her relatives and friends have been notified as well.
The designer has been diagnosed with mental illness, according to reports. An inquiry is ongoing, and her corpse has been sent to the Osmania Hospital for postmortem.
Prathyusha pursued fashion design in the United States before beginning her profession in Hyderabad. In 2013, she launched her own label under her own name, and she hasn’t looked back since. She had previously worked with a number of well-known Tollywood and Bollywood stars. Her clientele includes several well-known figures.
“I’ve always been interested in fashion but never considered making a profession out of it.” I had not really taken a design course. My buddies encouraged me to pursue this interest more seriously. So I had a tiny display where my things sold out in a matter of hours, and one step closer to another,” the late fashion designer stated in an interview on how she got started in the industry.
