Recently Saif Ali Khan, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Bhumi Pednekar were snapped at Jai Hind College, a panel discussion on United By Vote Campaign. Where the young celebs talked about the importance of voting.
At the event, Saif comment: The youth notoriously don’t go out and vote. But it’s important that they do because the actor feels that voting unifies each and every one of us.
“Even political parties have realized they need to put out their manifestos. So you have to read and find out things. Don’t believe everything you read, there’s so much rubbish out there. You have to realize when someone is pro-government or unnecessarily against the government. There are certain publications and websites which speak the truth, so read from all angles.” While that was Saif’s opinion, Bhumi, on the other hand, said, “We shouldn’t vote for a party but for a leader of our constitution.”
Saif also concluded: Every leader must be aware of the country’s power of unity. Even political parties have realized they need to put out their manifestos. So you have to read and find out things. Don’t believe everything you read, there’s so much rubbish out there.
