Prabhas has possibly the most money riding on his next movies than any other performer working in Indian films right now. There’s Radhe Shyam, Salaar, Adipurush, Project K, and Spirit, with just Radhe Shyam set to hit theatres on March 11th. The great news is that we now have data about Salaar, and it comes directly from the horse’s mouth. Shruti Haasan, who portrays the female lead alongside Prabhas in the film directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF fame, has graciously provided some insight into the structure and concept of the movie.
“I’m really glad to be a part of Salaar, first and foremost, like…truly, really thrilled,” Shruti Haasan stated in an exclusive interview with the sources about collaborating with Prabhas and Prashanth Neel. I’m so grateful to be a member of such a wonderful and cheerful team. It was like, you know, the movie has Prabhas and Prashanth Neel – such big names and a good part to perform (with them). Then I started working with them and got to know them more, and I realised, wow…these are really pleasant folks to spend your time and effort with, so I’ve had a great team.”
“See, the thing is that with Prashanth Neel, I feel the thing is that, even in KGF, there’s a lot of feeling and human equation that he brilliantly adds in-between – that connect happens and that’s why the narrative works, or else, folks can just get ended up losing in scale and cars flipping and all that – we’ve seen that in films,” the actress added.
However, even within the excitement and drama, he has a core human tale that he tells so effectively, and Salaar is both gigantic and human. And as for when it’ll be released, I can’t tell you that; you’ll have to ask someone else (chuckles). I’m hoping it’ll be soon, but I can’t say when.”
