Salman Khan is said to have chosen a debut project for his niece Alizeh Agnihotri. According to a new report, the aspiring actress, who is the daughter of Alvira and Atul Agnihotri, will make her debut appearance in the remake of the Thai heist thriller Bad Genius.
The 21-year-acting old’s debut has been in the works for some time. It was previously reported that Alizeh would make her acting debut alongside Sunny Deol’s younger son Rajveer. Avnish Barjatya’s coming-of-age love story would feature the duo. With the venture on hold indefinitely, it appears that Bad Genius’ Hindi remake will unlock her doors to the Bollywood entertainment industry.
According to Peeping Moon, Salman is launching Alizeh, which will be directed by Soumendra Padhi, the director of Netflix’s Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega. Pre-production will start in February, with the venture going into production in March. Salman hopes to have the film out by the end of the year or soon in 2023.
Bad Genius is a 2017 hit film about a straight-A student who devises an exam-cheating scheme. The student, played by Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying, joins her fellow classmates in their quest to find flaws in the rigged college admissions structure and assist other students in cheating. Nattawut Poonpiriya directs the film. In the Hindi remake, Alizeh will take on the role of Chutimon.
Alizeh is yet to build her acting debut, but she did model for a commercial last year. Alizeh was featured in a jewellery advertisement. She received a lot of positive feedback after sharing a video of the advertisement on social media. Salman was taken aback. Salman replied, “Arre wah (Very nice) how good you look beta Alizeh Agnihotri Khan… god bless you.” Alizeh has also modelled for Seema Khan’s bridal apparel collection.
