The 94th Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars 2022, were hosted in Hollywood yesterday. While the event made waves for its champions and fashion, it also made headlines for Will Smith going on stage and slapping Chris Rock for a remark he made about Jada Pinkett Smith. Salman Khan, a Bollywood actor, and presenter, has now been questioned about how hosts should behave.
Salman was questioned at a recent show if presenters should be responsive to their viewers. The Bigg Boss presenter also showed how a host should act on stage while addressing the question.
According to the sources, Salman Khan was questioned at a recent event if hosts ought to be cautious with their humor. The host must bet to be sensitive, the Dabangg star stated in response to the query. Humor should never be below the belt and should always be above it.
I’ve presented series like Bigg Boss, Dus Ka Dum, and so many live concerts on stage, Salman Khan continued. When I’ve hosted Bigg Boss and anything has gone wrong with one of the competitors that has made me furious or unhappy, I’ve spoken it on air, but I’m aware that there’s a boundary. At the end of the day, the candidates are also living in the house and must perform, so practise patience and sensitivity when dealing with them. I don’t go overboard. Whatever I have to say, I say it on Saturday, and then I’m back to normal on Sunday.
Varun Dhawan and Maniesh Paul were also in attendance, and they offered their thoughts on how hosts should act.
On the work front, Salman Khan has three highly anticipated projects in the works: Tiger 3, Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, and Godfather, starring Chiranjeevi. On May 20 and 21, he will co-host the 22nd edition of the IIFA Weekend and Awards with the actor Riteish Deshmukh in Abu Dhabi on Yas Island.
