Talented filmmaker and actor Mahesh Manjrekar is geared up to move ahead with his dream project titled White. And, he has roped in his all-time favourite actress Tabu for the lead role in the said movie.
As revealed by various sources, the script of White has been the filmmakers favourite one since 2010, when he wished to direct this film in the first place, but was not able to because of certain matters and the movie came to a big halt. Back then also, he was sure that he had to cast Tabu for this role because, according to him the script was framed keeping Tabu in mind and he could only picture Tabu playing this character.
Finally, after patiently waiting for eleven long years his wait has come to an end, and he is ready to move ahead with this project as he has found his producers who have complete faith in the script of the movie.
White will be produced by Legend Global Studio and Thinkink Picturez together.
Mahesh Ji believes that White is his first creation after Astitwa which is women-oriented. He described to a web portal that, White is a story that is centred around an Indian middle-class housewife and highlights the woman’s desire and ambitions in life.
White is set to be released around Dussehra 2022.
