Thar is a vengeance thriller starring Harshvardhan Kapoor, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Satish Kaushik.
Thar, directed by Raj Singh Chaudhary, is a film set in the 1980s that is influenced by Western Noir genres. Anil Kapoor, who simply can not stop raving over Thar and calling it a “tribute to the form of the traditional Western,” produced the movie. On and off screen, there’s a playground where the vitality of young blood meets the expertise of industry professionals. “On-screen, we see the new pairing of Harshvardhan Kapoor and Fatima Sana Sheikh, and off-screen, we see the new pairing of Harshvardhan Kapoor and Fatima Sana Sheikh,” Anil Kapoor quoted. To be clear, the Dil Dhadakne Do actor will portray a police officer in Thar, a film about Siddharth (Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor) and his quest for vengeance.
Netflix India’s Director of Films and Licensing, Pratiksha Rao, stated that the company’s goal is to provide audiences with a diverse and engaging selection of films.
We, like our members, are great movie aficionados at Netflix. Without taking creative risks with enthusiastic filmmakers, bringing them the most engaging and diverse movies is impossible, and ‘Thar’ is an example of such a narrative. We were pleased to partner with AKFC because of Raj’s strong vision for the fantastic story.
Thar will be marked as the second collaboration movie between Anil Kapoor and his son Harsh Varrdhan. The father and son team previously collaborated in the film AK vs AK, which came out in 2020. In addition, they are likely to collaborate on Abhinav Bindra’s biopic, in which he won an Olympic gold medal.
