Seems like Vicky Kaushal starrer Sardar Udham Singh is heading towards making a digital release. The Shoojit Sarkar directed movie went on the floors in the year 2019 where Vicky Kaushal will be seen portraying the role of legendary freedom fighter. While the shoot was completed in December 2019 the post-production process seems to have taken a much longer time than anticipated.
The film would have been released sooner but owing to the pandemic it got delayed further.
However, various sources revealed that the makers of the movie are now aiming at a digital release and have dropped the idea of theatrical release because delaying the release any further and waiting for the Corona situation to get normal would not benefit anyone.
According to the latest reports, the Vicky Kaushal starrer movie will be streaming live on Amazon Prime Video from October 16 somewhere during the Dussehra weekend.
