Liger teaser out

The much-anticipated Pan-India film ‘Liger‘, featuring Vijay Deverakonda as male lead, is all set to hit the theatres on 25th August 2022. The primary look of the film, likewise featuring Ananya Panday as the female lead, will be released on 31st December. As a part of a promotion, the makers of the movie released a teaser video revealing the time and date of the movie’s first glimpse. The video starts with a voiceover that says, ‘Witness The Madness“. Bringing the beast to the nation. Sneak peek on December 31st at 10:30 a.m. 

Karan Johar took to his social media handle and shared the teaser of the movie and captioned it, it is almost the time to reveal the beast to the nation. Begun the new year with a blast and a few punches. 

The movie is directed by Puri Jagannadh, contains a lot of interesting elements, one of which is an ensemble cast. With the highly anticipated sports action film ‘Liger’ boxing icon Mike Tyson makes his Indian film debut. 

The movie has been grabbing the limelight since its start, however owing to the Covid-19 outbreak, the movie’s shoot was deferred. The high-octane portions in the sports drama will star Vijay Deverakonda in a never-before-seen cast, as well as a slew of foreign combatants. The makers of the movie have been filming in Mumbai, the United States, Hyderabad, Las Vegas and other locations. 

Vishnu Sarma is the cinematographer, and Thailand’s Kecha is the stunt director. Puri Jagannadh, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Charmme Kaur together produced the movie. 

Co-producer Karan Johar, who recently revealed the official poster of the film earlier this month, revealed the male lead Vijay’s first glimpse as a boxer. The movie also features Ramya Krishna, Vishnu Reddy and Ronit Roy. This movie will be released on big screens worldwide in all 5 different languages – Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam.
