Kriti Sanon has a busy year ahead of her, with up to five projects in the works. The young actress has demonstrated her flexibility by taking on roles in a variety of genres. In her latest production, directed by Anurag Kashyap, the actress will also be seen in action sequences.
“I would simply say, it has certain Anurag Kashyap characteristics to it,” Kriti stated in a recent interview when asked about her forthcoming film with Kashyap. It has a wacky plot, and I’m really looking forward to it because it’s a one-shot character. There’s also a lot of action. I’ve just recently begun playing Ganapath, but I’m already hooked. In Anurag’s picture, there’s a lot of action, which I’m looking forward to.”
Kriti Sanon appears to have laced up her boots and is ready for some action. It would be thrilling to see the main lady in action scenes in ‘Ganapath,’ starring Tiger Shroff, and then in Anurag Kashyap’s flick.
The director had previously resorted to social media to make an unexpected statement about the picture.
Adipurush with Prabhas, Bachchan Pandey with Akshay Kumar, Ganapath with Tiger Shroff, Bhediya with Varun Dhawan, and Shehzada with Kartik Aaryan are among her upcoming films.
Her starrer movie ‘Mimi,’ aired on an OTT platform last year only.
In 2014, she made her Telugu acting debut in 1: Nenokkadine, a psychological thriller. Sanon won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for her role in Sabbir Khan’s action-comedy-romantic Heropanti (2014), her maiden film in Hindi cinema.
Since then, Kriti Sanon has starred in the box office hits such as Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), Luka Chuppi (2019), Mimi (2021), and Hum Do Hamare Do (2021). The comedic action romance Dilwale (2015) and the comedy Housefull 4 were her highest-grossing films (2019). She also has her own clothing line and sponsors a number of businesses and goods, and she was named to Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list in 2019.
