The third season of The Kapil Sharma Show, one of the most adored television programmes, ended on June 5. After debuting in 2016, the programme quickly rose to fame and became a household favourite. For years, Kapil and his crew had us all in stitches! Even the show had helped many people during the Covid period, and patients have also thanked him that used to be stress-free while watching Kapil’s show.
Kapil experienced several ups and downs in his personal and professional life over the course of the show’s six-year run. The actor had experienced everything from his argument with Sunil Grover to celebs entering and departing his programme (some, like Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh) to dealing with depression. However, he returned with the third season which was successful for both him and his group. The actor also made a tonne of money this season! According to several reports and speculations, Kapil reportedly charged Rs 30 Lakh every episode in the second season. In the third season, he reportedly decided to hike his amount and started asking Rs 50 Lakh per episode, or Rs 1 Crore per weekend. Thus, the comedian made an astounding Rs 40 Crore for 80 programmes.
Kapil Sharma’s show had a fan base from all over the world. Even during the show, we saw people all over from the USA, Australia etc used to come to India just for the sake of Kapil’s show. Hence now that the third season has concluded Kapil and his team will appear live in Vancouver (Canada). While travelling abroad, Kapil posted a couple of photographs on his Instagram account with the remark, “Flying to Vancouver today can’t wait to meet our lovely fans in Canada.” Kapil makes the whole country laugh and that’s what makes this show a perfect family timer. Fans are even waiting for the next season but no such official information has been released from the channel or the team’s end. But “Out Heart Definitely Wants more” if it’s Kapil’s show.
