Salim Khan, the famed playwright, received an anonymous chit at the Bandra Bandstand promenade in Mumbai on Sunday, June 5th, while taking a break from his morning walk, according to reports. The chit had murder threats for both Salim and his superstar son, Salman Khan, with the lines “Moose wala jaisa kar dunga (I’ll give you a fate like Moose Wala)” scrawled on it, among other dire threats, referring to Punjabi musician Sidhu Moose Wala’s recent gruesome shooting.
The senior official revealed that the chit has been knowingly kept in a particular place where Salim Khan takes his break from morning walk. All the investigation are being done in lrder get hold of the person behind the chit. The officials also stated that Salim Khan has not received any threat calls or messages. Lawrence Bishnoi, the imprisoned vigilante who previously admitted to organising the Sidhu Moose Wala murder, has reportedly denied having anything to do with the life-threatening letter addressed to Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan.
Salman further claimed that he knew about Lawrence Bishnoi because of a death threat he received from the criminal leader during his blackbuck case trial in 2018. “I have not received this letter,” the star have informed the cops. While out on a morning walk, my father received this letter. I have no current complaints towards anyone. I have no cause to be suspicious of anyone. I have not received any threat calls or messages” Salman Khan further stated.
Well Salman Khan is currently gearing up for some of his amazing projects. The star has Tiger 3 and Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali on the list. He will also be seen in a cameo role in Shah Rukh’s most anticipated film Pathaan. Amidst these busy schedules of shooting, it is yet to se whether the shooting of any project gets delayed keeping the safety concerns on mind.
