Not only are Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil known for their performances in the hit Telugu movie Pushpa: The Rising. Another quick smash was Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s appearance in the item song Oo Antava. The actor revealed that her close family & friends had counselled her against accepting the opportunity when she was still married to her ex-husband, actor Naga Chaitanya. But she immediately decided to accept it because she did n’t want to stay at home and read the bad news.
The actor’s upcoming film, Shaakuntalam, stars Dev Mohan as the king opposite her in the titular character. Samantha has been cautious in the projects she chooses to appear in since her divorce in 2021. She made her special entrance in Pushpa’s song number as her first decision following the announcement of her separation. Her loved ones and close friends thought she shouldn’t have accepted it.
Samantha noted in an interview that she didn’t would like to withdraw during the divorce process. “I was presented ‘Oo Antava’ in the heat of the split [from Naga],” she remarked. Every family member and well-wisher who heard the announcement said, “You will sit at home; you will not perform an item song right after you have revealed the split.” Even my mates, who usually pushed me to push my limits, warned me against performing an item song. But, I said, “Fine, I’m doing it.””
Samantha went on, “I simply pondered, “Why should I hide?” Nothing I did was wrong. I wasn’t waiting for the hate, humiliation, and abuse to stop before returning like someone who had committed a crime. I had no intention of doing it.”
Samantha Prabhu received lots of appropriation for her moves in the item number song. Previously, she was invited Karan Johar’s talk show. Fans loved her there too.
