Star Vicky Kaushal finally spoke about the viral footage that appeared to show him being turned away by Salman Khan’s bodyguards at the IIFA Awards ceremony.
“There are times situations are not exactly as they appear in a video,” said Vicky Kaushal to the reporters. “There is needless chatter about many things,” the Uri: The Surgical Strike star continued. There are points throughout the video when things are not exactly as they appear.
The sideline footage from the 2023 IIFA Awards as well as Weekend gone viral on social media on Friday, appearing to show Kaushal being pushed by Khan’s security crew when he paused to greet Salman.
Later, on the IIFA green carpeting, Khan approached Kaushal and gave him a bear embrace to put an end to the rumours.
With actor Abhishek Bachchan, Kaushal will host the IIFA Awards presentation on Saturday.
In a film, the actor will next be seen alongside Sara Ali Khan in “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke,” which will hit theatres on June 2.
