Manushi Chhillar roped in opposite Vicky Kaushal in YRF's comedy :  Bollywood News - Bollywood Hungama

Vicky Kaushal has a tight schedule this year. He is currently shooting for Vijay Krishana Acharya`s next movie that is not yet titled. He will also be seen in Mr. Lele that is Shashank Khaitan`s film. Up next he has Ashwatthama that is Aditya Dhar`s film.

His next film will be a Yash Raj Film that will also star Manushi Chillar in the lead role.

Manushi Chillar Shoots for Prithviraj Song

Miss World 2017, Manushi Chillar is all set to make her debut in Prithviraj opposite Akshay Kumar.

The shoot of the film is almost done. It was untitled till now but it now has got a title. The movie is named as TGIF or The Great Indian Family.

A source revealed, “They are now calling Vicky and Manushi’s film The Great Indian Family or TGIF. It’s a mad cap comedy of errors and Vicky’s first comedy film. The movie revolves around a dysfunctional family and hence the title. It’s also called the same because TGIF is also a very millennial term. But it’s a tentative title. Aditya Chopra could also ask for a change on the same.”

YRF are sure that the film TGIF will not release this year, even after the film is ready.

Prithviraj releases on Diwali this year and the makers are clear that this has to be Manushi’s debut project because it’s a grand period drama that will position her really well. TGIF will release only around early 2022.”

Prithviraj that is the biggest launch of 2021, is set to release on Diwali and will star Manushi Chhillar. The film is a Yash Raj Film and Manushi is set against Akshay Kumar.

Manushi is the former Miss World who won for India after 21 years after Priyanka Chopra.

“Growing up, I remember going to the theatre to watch a movie during Diwali. It was evident to us that one of the biggest films of the year would be released on Diwali and were a community viewing exercise. Today, as my film has been slated as a Diwali release, I can only be grateful that I’m getting this launch by YRF,” says Manushi.
