Bollywood is known for its intriguing story and different tales of directory. Well for some past few days the story and tales which have se social message behind has been in news. Be it Toilet Ek Prem Katha, Padman etc. and many other such films which have brought up issues specially those issues which are solely focused on women and their issues . Well one such movie got onboard today also which solely focuses on women and the job she does
Well the movie is titled as “Chatriwali” and the story starts when Sanya Dhingra (Rakul), a home-tutoring chemistry graduate, accepts a position as a condom tester at a Karnal company named “Can Do Condoms,” keeping the news from her mother, sister, husband, and in-laws. While she’s at it, Sanya discovers that using condoms, or even careers connected to their manufacture, is truly a way to save lives and prevent women from choosing abortions and miscarriages due to unintended pregnancies. When her in-laws find out the truth at home, Sanya doesn’t give up and keeps fighting to spread the word about safe sex and, most crucially, sex education for young people. The movie ends up being a movie which aims at showing the men the importance of having safe sex and gradually it changes to the importance of giving education regarding the safety and precautionary measures.
The tale is quite engaging. It sort of finds out the most important issues but somehow the tale seems to be something which we have watched before. The recently released Janhit Mai Zari which starred Nushrat Baruchcha in the pivotal role showcased the similar issues and was highly appraised by the audience. Viewers seem to be happy with Rakul’s performance. There is also a highlight about the subject “Safe Sex” and also about the miseries or doubts students usually have and because of the awkwardness amongst the teenagers they are unable to ask or clear their doubts. The movie ‘s scripting is done perfectly and the movie seems to have delivered the perfect message. Every element is quiet fascinating and interesting. The movie hence is slated to have 4 out of 5 stars.
