You will feel the tension of being on a hijacked flight while watching the recently released movie Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga. The movie, in which Yami Gautam Dhar, Sunny Kaushal, and Sharad Kelkar play the main characters, could have accomplished much more with its diamond-heisting plot. Ajay Singh directed the movie, which can be watched on Netflix.
Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga: Story.
Neha Grover, an air hostess portrayed by Yami Gautam who enjoys her work and has done it for so long that she is skilled at finding ways to evade security measures during boarding and landing. A diamond businessman named Ankit Sethi, played by Sunny Kaushal, falls in love with Neha. Ankit and Neha have liked each other since their first flight together.
Soon Neha( Yami Gautam) becomes pregnant and her life with Ankit is rosy until it isn’t! Ankit has to steal diamonds worth 120CR rupees during the plane flight as they are connected to the GPS there. So what happens to diamonds from Al Barkat to Delhi, leaves no trace! But of course, Ankit can’t do all this alone and needs Neha’s help to steal the same diamonds that the Indian home minister is smuggling to her. So many things change and the couple is in trouble. The climax includes RAW, a well balanced RAW( not over dramatic).
Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga: Performance| Presentation.
Neha’s character couldn’t have been better, since Yami Gautam was great in her performance. Sunny Kaushal looks too overdramatic sometimes, sometimes his just extraordinary. You get confused, seems like the dialogues forced and sometimes it’s like the dialogues were just writen for him. Sharad is just ‘wow’ with his voice and delivery. Background music is good, it keeps you connected. Direction could have been better.
Conclusion.
The movie, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga could have been better since the story was good. The movie is enjoyable, but do not expect a lot from it. It is a must watch, if you are a Yami Gautam fan.
