Ex PM of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be portrayed by actor Shreyas Talpade in Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency. Anupam Kher will portray Jayaprakash Narayanan, and Kangana will portray Indira Gandhi in the movie.

Kangana Ranaut is the director and producer of Emergency. “He portrays Atal Bihari Vajpayee who was a young and budding leader when Mrs. Gandhi had become the Prime Minister for the first time,” Kangana stated in a statement regarding Shreyas Talpade making an appearance. He was a hero during the Emergency. He is a talented performer, so it is a blessing to have him on board. I think his portrayal of Atal Bihari Vajpayee will go down as one of the most unforgettable.
