It’s time for Rocketry: The Nambi Effect to put India on the international film map! R Madhavan’s much-anticipated directorial debut, biographical drama Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, will have its World Premiere during the 75th Cannes Film Festival, bringing the iconic ISRO space scientist Nambi Narayanan to the international stage, where it clearly deserves to be viewed. The Palais des Festival premiere will take place at 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 19th, as part of the Cannes Film Market’s celebration of India as the official country of honour this year – an inaugural tradition that will be continued in future editions. The beginning of the festival custom is particularly remarkable this year, as it coincides with the 75th anniversary of India’s independence
Nambi Narayanan, a former ISRO scientist and aerospace engineer, is played by R Madhavan, an actor-turned-filmmaker who also directed, produced, and wrote the film. “I’m in a daze!” R Madhavan said about the gaze presentation of his directorial debut at such a huge platform. I’ve only just begun to tell the story of Nambi Narayanan, and I can’t believe what’s going on. We’ve waited a long time by God’s grace, and I’m grateful and eagerly excited to see all of the positive developments for the film. My nerves are making it difficult for me to breathe as a first-time director, and all I want to do is make India proud!”
Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, which tells the narrative of world renowned ISRO space scientist Nambi Narayan’s struggle, determination, and triumph, was shot simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil, and English. Its WORLDWIDE theatrical premiere on July 1st will also include Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada versions. The film was shot on a colossal scale in India, France, Canada, Georgia, and Serbia. With a powerful ensemble star cast that includes Phyllis Logan, Vincent Riotta, and Ron Donachie, as well as special appearances by Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya, the film boasts a strong ensemble star cast.TriColour Films, Varghese Moolan Pictures, and 27th Investments are producing Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. R.Madhavan is a dynamic star who just leaves the audience in awe after his performance. He left an imprint after Tanu Weds Manu and it’s sequel and was really appeciated in that role. It will great to watch him again and this time he brings proud to the Nation.
