Ranbir Kapoor, a popular Bollywood actor, is actively promoting his upcoming romantic comedy Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. He recently promoted the movie in Kolkata, even speaking with the media there. Kapoor was questioned if he was working on a biopic of Sourav Ganguly at the time.

Ranbir listened to the query and responded right away, “Dada (Sourav Ganguly), in my opinion, is a living icon not only in India but also internationally. A biopic on his life would be remarkably unique. Sorry, there is no film that has been offered at this moment.”
The iconic musician Kishore Kumar’s biography, which has been in preparation for the previous 11 years, has been revealed as one of Ranbir’s current projects. “I’ve been focusing on Kishore Kumar’s biopic for 11 years. With Anurag Basu, we have indeed been writing it, and I’m hoping it will be my upcoming biography. I haven’t heard anything about a dada biopic being made. Hence, I’m not sure”, Ranbir announced.
On Sunday, February 26, Ranbir was spotted practising cricket with Sourav at Kolkata’s renowned Eden Grounds earlier in the day. Online users have discovered numerous images of the couple taken in the field. In the pictures, Sourav wore white pants and a T-shirt, while Ranbir wore a black T-shirt with jeans. The words Ranbir’s Makkar XI were written on Ranbir’s T-shirt. On Sourav’s T-shirt was written Dada’s Jhooti XI.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar starring Ranbir Kapoor:
On March 8, the movie Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, featuring Ranbir as well as Shraddha Kapoor, will debut in theatres. The film would be Ranbir’s first movie since Brahmastra, which came out last year. After Chhichhore, Shraddha released her first significant film (2019). The movie was made by Luv Ranjan as well as Ankur Garg of Luv Films, and Gulshan and Bhushan Kumar of T-Series presented it.
