The upcoming book “Coffee King V.G Siddhartha” will be adapted by production companies T-Series and Almighty Motion Picture, as revealed recently.Investigative writers Prosenjit Datta and Rukmini BR have written the book. Pan Macmillan will be the publisher (India). Anish Chandy of Labyrinth Literary Agency sold the adaptation rights to T-Series and Prabhleen Kaur Sandhu of Almighty Motion Picture in collaboration with Karma Media Entertainment.
Latte, cappuccino, Americano, and espresso entered the urban Indian lexicon thanks to Siddhartha’s chain of cafes, which helped make coffee a leisure beverage. Siddhartha was found dead in 2019 at the age of 59. In the Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka, his body was discovered in the Netravati river.The crew is thrilled to bring his narrative to the big screen, according to Bhushan Kumar, director and chairman of T-Series. This is a thoroughly researched book that offers us a lot of opportunity to bring out unknown parts of this great entrepreneur’s life.” While co-author Datta described him as the most “humble entrepreneur as well as an immensely ambitious one,” Rukmini BR claimed that Siddhartha’s biography is full of “thrilling twists and turns.”Datta continued, “We are conveying this conflict both in the text and on television. The biopic will be one of the most interesting undertakings of his career, according to producer Shaailesh R Singh of Karma Media and Entertainment.
