After the tremendous success of Raazi and Shershaah Bollywood’s most talented producer and director Karan Johar is said to be planning on turning another prestigious freedom fighter’s life into a blockbuster movie. According to various sources, this upcoming Dharma Production’s venture is going to be a biopic based on the life of Gandhian Freedom Fighter, Usha Mehta. Rumours are that the two actresses who are in the running to play the role of Usha Mehta are Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar. Ketan Mehta is eager to turn the prestigious life of his aunt and freedom fighter Usha Mehta into a biopic and he feels that one of these two actresses would be perfect for the role.
Seems like Karan Johar is adamant in providing the audience with top-class movies back to back and is ready with another one of his projects that’s going to leave the viewers teary eye. While the audiences are still in complete awe of his latest release Shershaah which made every individual of the country emotional with the storyline and portrayal of Sidharth Malhotra as Vikram Batra, Kjo is already back with another patriotic movie and is ready to do a commendable job yet again. The script of the said movie is rumoured to be under process for the last few years and detailed researches have been made to do the life of Usha Mehta and the movie total justice.
While there is no final announcement about who the director is going to be, rumours are that Karan Johar has his eye on Kannan Iyer for the job.
