Diljott headed Dream Buds Foundation.
Diljott’s headed NGO, Dream Buds Foundation, has provided bicycles to girls from economically unstable families. Diljott said, “ education is very important and I do understand their need to realize their ambition for education”.
Dijott’s The Dream Buds Foundation, has come up with a remarkable project to provide bicycles to more than twenty girls for transportation. 20 girls at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Sohana, Mohali received school supplies along with bicycles.
Kids were also provided with supplies for school, such as lunchboxes and water bottles by The Dream Buds Foundation.
Providing bicycles will improve mobility and by improving their mobility, the plan is to assist impoverished girls from low-socioeconomic regions of society and inspire them to pursue their academic goals. This will make it easier for them to get from home to school and will help them further realize their educational dreams.
In India, there is still a notable gap between male and female literacy rates. The difference between the male and female literacy rate is 14.3%. The initiatives like (Dijott’s foundation) will help girls to achieve their ambition.
Diljott along with volunteers and employees of the foundation, in addition to the principal, staff, and students, were present at the distribution event.
The Dream Buds Foundation is headed by the lead actress Diljott. According to the founder of the foundation, “ I’m always found helping people in need, giving credit to my parents for the kind of upbringing I had”. She further added, “my parents taught me to share my blessings with people who need it the most”.
Diljott’s Statement.
Diljott stated, “My interest in helping humanity goes back to volunteering for numerous social initiatives at school, college, and university. I then academically chose to pursue a Masters in Human Rights and then completed a Post Graduate Course in NGO Management while also studying Public Policy from Harvard University, USA, and International Development from University of British Columbia, Canada, and professionally preparing myself for this field.
“As a dreamer and an artist, I could understand their predicament of giving up on their aspirations simply because they are impoverished and lack the opportunities, resources, support, and guidance to do so. I created the Dream Buds Foundation because I sensed the need for an organisation that would act as an umbrella and give hope to a million such needy dreams. Additionally, we take on more general projects to help the less fortunate” she added.
