On Wednesday, actor Sushmita Sen finished filming the dubbing and promotional scenes for her new web series, “Taali.”
Sushmita posted a picture on Instagram with the message, “Finished dubbing and promotional filming for our Taali #webseriesi. This lovely crew will be sorely missed; what a profound ride it has been! The “Aarya” actor posted a photo and a video of herself and the “Taali” cast members enjoying the conclusion of the series.
She was pictured in another image posing in inside dubbing studio with the series’ creators. The drama “Taali” on transgender rights advocate Shreegauri Sawant will star Sushmita in the lead position.
The series has yet to begin streaming in its entirety.
Last year, the star released her debut look from the show.
On discussing her appearance, she had said, “That’s Shreegauri Sawant for you—a tale of adversity, tenacity, and unstoppable might! Nothing gives me greater joy and gratitude than to finish this difficult road and see a revolution in action! Transgender activist Shreegauri Sawant was raised in Pune and was born Ganesh. 2014 saw the announcement of the case’s historic verdict.
The planned drama will shed new light on the inspirational life of Shreegauri Sawant, including her early years, gender transformation, and ultimate role in India’s transgender movement revolution.
The audience will be intrigued by Sushmita ’s fearless and audacious portrayal of Shreegauri Sawant in this endeavour.
