Actor Ram Charan spoke extensively about RRR, the Oscar, film career, and other topics while in Delhi for an event. Ram and actor-father Chiranjeevi visited with state minister Amit Shah in the meantime. The home minister applauded them on RRR’s historic victory at the Oscars in 2023, where Naatu Naatu took home the prize for Best Original Music.
First at Delhi airport on Friday, Ram Charan was met by a swarm of admirers and supporters. At the 95th Academy Awards, RRR made history by becoming the initial Indian production to win an Oscar for Original Song. On stage, actor Deepika Padukone gave the show its introduction.

As Chiranjeevi stood next to him, Ram was seen giving Amit Shah a bunch of flowers. The actor attended the Oscars event in Los Angeles alongside his wife Upasana, director SS Rajamouli of the RRR team, co-star Jr NTR, composer MM Keeravaani, and lyricist Chandrabose before flying back to Delhi. Ram wore an all-black ensemble to the Oscar event, and his wife Upasana Konidela, she looked lovely in a lite cream designer saree, was with him.
