Actor Salman Khan has been urged by imprisoned gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to apologise or prepare to “face the consequences”. Lawrence vowed to “destroy his arrogance sooner or later” in a recent interview with the actor. The Mumbai Police filed a FIR against an unidentified person in June of last year for mailing a “threat letter” to Salman as well as his father, lyricist Salim Khan.
The note made reference to the May 29 murder of Punjabi musician Sidhu Moosewala in the Mansa district of Punjab by writing, “You would face same fate as Moosewala”. Although he had denied any involvement, Lawrence Bishnoi is said to have sent the note.

Lawrence Bishnoi claimed that Salman’s slaughter of a blackbuck embarrassed his society. Bishnoi said, “ He made my community look bad. He was the subject of a lawsuit, but he never apologised. Be prepared to deal with the repercussions if he refuses to apologise. I won’t rely on anybody else.”
Lawrence continued, “My anger for him has been since I was very young. Will eventually shatter his ego. He should better apologise before the temple of our community. I won’t say anything if our culture is willing to forgive.”
Salman received a self-defense handgun license from the Mumbai Police in August of last year.
Salman reportedly received a Y+ security from the Maharashtra administration in November of last year as a result of the threats. It indicates that he will always be accompanied by four armed security guards.
An official had stated last year, “They assessed Salman Khan’s farmhouse, observed the road access, and made note of the speed limitation at which the car could enter and exit due to the roads’ potholes. They pretended to be Salman Khan’s admirers and made an effort to become friends with the house staff in order to learn the times of his entering and exiting as well as the people that accompany him.”
