Actress Shruti Haasan announced on Instagram that she had finished filming her scene for the upcoming Telugu action thriller Salaar, directed by KGF-famous Prashant Neel. She also expressed her gratitude to Prabhas, her co-star, for being so sweet and adorable. Her post indicates that she portrays a role in the movie called Aadya.

For the first time, Shruti Haasan collaborated with Prabhas. The movie, which is anticipated to be an action drama, stars Prabhas as Salaar. Salaar is speculated to be a remake of the Kannada film Ugramm. Prashanth as well as Prabhas are working together for the very first time after the spectacular success of KGF.
Previously, Prashanth announced that Salaar would open in theatres throughout the world on September 28, 2023. The release date was announced by a poster. The team received praise from the public for publicising the release date a year in advance.
Prabhas is depicted posing with 2 swords in the poster. In the distance are numerous dead bodies. The inclusion of Prithviraj Sukumaran as well as Sriya Reddy, who was most notably seen in Amazon Prime’s Suzhal, was also confirmed by Prashanth’s tweet.
Prabhas is currently preoccupied with the filming of his forthcoming, multilingual science fiction movie, Project K, under the direction of Nag Ashwin. In this production, which will be financially supported by Vyjayanthi Films, Deepika Padukone marks her Telugu debut. Amitabh Bachchan plays a significant role in the movie as well.

In her debut in a feature film, Haasan played the daughter of Vallabhbhai Patel in the bilingual Hey Ram, which was directed by her father Kamal Haasan and was based on an attempt to murder Mahatma Gandhi. Reports stated in late 2007 that Haasan was planning to make her official acting debut in 2008 with a movie opposite Madhavan, directed by Nishikant Kamat, after rejecting notable film offers, most famously the lead role in Venkat Prabhu’s Saroja. The movie, titled Endrendrum Punnagai, was shelved before it had started.
