Raju Srivastava passed away on August 10 after having a cardiac attack while exercising at the gym. After a long and tough battle, the comedian passed away on the morning of September 21. Raju Srivastava’s family includes his wife Shikha Srivastava and two children who presently reside at AIIMS. On September 22, he will be cremated in Delhi. After the cardiac arrest, Raju Srivastava sustained significant brain damage and has been unconscious and under observation at AIIMS, Delhi, since August 10.
Raju Srivastava’s wife Shikha had spoken with Nation’s PM Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Both of them established their complete support for Raju and his family during treatment. Raju was performing physical activity for fitness when he suddenly collapsed due to chest pain.
His instructor brought him to AIIMS Delhi, where he received thrice CPR to revive his heart.
Family members of Raju Srivastava, including his spouse Shikha, son Ayushman, and daughter Antara, are presently enrolled in AIIMS. The cremation will take place in Delhi, according to the family’s decision. The morning of September 22 will see Raju’s cremation.
Earlier, they were discussing moving Raju to Mumbai or Kanpur. Raju will be buried in Delhi, according to Raju’s brother-in-law. He added in a statement while having media interaction “His blood pressure fell in the morning, and CPR was subsequently administered. He initially replied to it, but then he passed out. In two to three days, the ventilator was intended to be removed. Additionally, medication dosages had been cut.”
Raju Srivastava who is a famous comedian was seen in multiple comedy shows/ TV series. He was loved for his performance in “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge”, “Comedy Circus”, Along with Kapil Sharma in “The Kapil Sharma Show”, but very few knew that he was also in “Shaktimaan” and many others. He also featured a couple of Movies sharing screen space with stars like Salman Khan in “Maine Pyaar Kiya”, Anil Kapoor in “Tezaab”, Shah Rukh Khan in “Baazigar” and more. Lastly, he was seen as a special guest on India’s Laughter Champion.
