Shah Rukh Khan and Nagarjuna made huge cameo in Brahmastra

Producer Karan Johar has said that superstars Nagarjuna and Shah Rukh Khan agreed to make cameo appearances in the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt blockbuster Brahmastra because they believed in the film’s vision. Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, Nikkhil Advani, and Sameer Nair joined Karan Johar to discuss the industry, the epidemic, content creation, films, the digital medium, and the fixation with remakes.

Shah Rukh Khan Guest appearance in Nagarjuna film

Karan talked about the upcoming star-studded film Brahmastra and Shah Rukh Khan and Nagarjuna’s cameo appearances in Film Companion’s producer’s roundtable chat with Anupama Chopra. Karan Johar said that he has discovered that making a movie takes time, and one should give time to it. One should have mastered the art of storyboarding, and also mastered the art of collaborating with individuals who genuinely care about the project. They didn’t sign the film because it was money or a commitment to them. It’s because they truly believe in what they’re doing. One should need a staff that becomes organically embedded in the fabric of the film if they are doing something that big.

This is exactly what happened with Brahmastra. He joined the team just like Nagarjuna; Shah Rukh Khan made a big cameo for them. They expected him to shoot for five days, but he ended up shooting for 15. And he saw the sequence’s vision without being asked a question. It’s like Mr. Bachchan; he arrived in a similar manner. This isn’t just the movie; it’s everyone’s movie, and one can own it. Tomorrow, the list of producers is long, and the list of actors is even longer.

It’s as if they all are part of one gigantic mega-movie that only needs to be seen by the rest of the globe. So, we truly want everyone in this country and around the world to come out and watch because they don’t need it for the money; they need it to validate the seven long years, he continued.

Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni feature in Brahmastra, which was written and directed by AyanMukerji and produced by Karan Johar. The movie is supposed to be the first in a planned trilogy. On September 9th, 2022, Brahmastra will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
